Adriatic Coast Slovenia to Greece

I am planning to ride from UK to Turkey via the Adriatic Coast. What should I know about riding through Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania? My EU insurance covers Croatia but not the other three, can I buy insurance at the border?
