Part from Kaunas to Jurbarkas is really with a beautifull scenery and lots of hills and castles to visit.
I really enjoy this road.
If you are in Kaunas and going towards seaside, this is the best way to go. Road starts by the bigges lithuanian river and goes along up to town Jurbarkas. Up to that town it is mainly straigt road with good asphalt. From Jurbarkas road goes to Pagegiai through some forest. There will be nice vilages some nice bridges and road twists. You must stop in one nice restaurant Pagege, which is located in the end of town Pagegiai. There is special place to park motorcycles, very good food and service. Also there is hotel where you can stay. Further road goes toward Silute. There German style vilages will lead you there. This side of lithuania was part of a Germany long time ago, that is why there are so many nice architecture. In Silute you can turn towards Klaipeda or also visit nice village Venta where nature scientists are catching birds coming from the sea. There are few campings, where you can stay. This road is nice cruising with any kind of bike. I call this road lithuanian Route 66 :)
